She’s Six. She Plays the Whole Band
A six-year-old from Nanjing covers the Eagles' "Hotel California" as a one-girl band — guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, every part played by her.
Who You're Watching
Her name is Miumiu — she’s six, from Nanjing, and she picked up a guitar at three because her dad plays. This is what three years of practice looks like.
It’s a one-girl band: she plays every part herself — acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, maracas — and sings the lead. And it’s not a cute-kid gimmick. Listen to the electric solo, and to how her timing holds across all those layered tracks; the feel is real. She’s in good company: we recently featured a 13-year-old bass prodigy.
